TranscriptYouTube
Changelog
New features, improvements and fixes. When something was broken, we say what it affected and for how long.

- Submitting a link from the homepage, tool pages, guides and the about page, in every language. Direct transcript links and the browser extension were not affected.
- When
- 28 October 2026, about 02:20 UTC – 29 October 2026, about 07:20 UTC

Transcripts now open in the language that is spoken in the video, and videos that were wrongly reported as having no captions are checked again.
