How to get the transcript of a YouTube Short
Shorts have captions too. Here is how to read, copy and download them.

Copy the Shorts link
In the YouTube app, tap Share → Copy link on the Short. On a computer, copy the address bar — Shorts links look like youtube.com/shorts/VIDEO_ID.
Paste it into the transcript tool
Paste the link on our homepage and choose Get transcript. Shorts links are converted automatically. You can also replace “youtube.com” with “transcriptyoutube.com” in a Shorts link.
